Montemuro Trails - Cinfães

Day 1 — Bestança River Valley Route

The Valley Route is a linear route that can be started in the village of Vila de Muros, near Nogueira Square, or in Doors of Montemuro, next to Portas chapel. It runs in one of the most beautiful valleys in Portugal and along one of the cleanest rivers in Europe — the Bestança River Valley. This trail route leads us through places of great scenic, cultural and architectural interest.

Day 2 — Aveloso Valley Route

The pedestrian route of Aveloso Valley is a circular trail in the form of eight, beginning and ending in the parish council of Tendais. Passes through the villages of Macieira, Covais, Aveloso and Meridãos, crossing fields, creeks and valleys, always with green slopes in background.

Duration — approx. 5 hours
